Polished by KPT recently released their summer collection, called So SoCal. It consists of three super sparkly glitters, five squishy jelly-cremes and nine (!) beautiful holographics. It’s like three mini collections in one! Let’s start with the holos:
All of these had almost the same formula, so I won’t review them one by one. All of these have one thing in common, the great formula! It’s like a dream to apply most of them! The formula is neither too thin or thick and I found them all very easy to work with. The only ones I found a little tricky to apply was the nude/beige No Makeup Needed and the light pastel pink Meet Me @Pink. I felt that the formula on those was a little thicker than the rest and slightly gloopy. Was it a big issue? Not at all, but still worth mentioning. So, are you ready for a holographic swatch fest?
Polished by KPT – Under the Limelight (one coat over Not Another Pretty Face)
Color shifting sliver holographic glitters. I’m. In. Love. It was so easy to apply and the glitter spread out nicely and even over the entire nail. A great mix of clear base and glitter!
Polished by KPT – Walk Of Fame (one coat over Living Like Royalty)
Woooaah, this is my new favorite glitter topper! It’s like a holographic glittery rainbow exploded over my nails!
What about the formula and application, then? Same awesome formula as Under the Limelight. Applied like a dream!
Polished by KPT – Star Gazing (one coat over California Heat)
This is Under the Limelight’s golden holographic sister. Do I love her as much as the silvery one? Yes, I do. Same great formula and super easy to apply!
And that’s all 17! What do you think of these? My top picks are: Walk Of Fame, Under the Limelight, Audrey, Cruising Beverly, Living Like Royalty, Viva LA and California Heat.
