A couple of weeks ago, Essies PR coordinator invited me to an inspiring workshop in Copenhagen, Denmark. I had to set my alarm and go up out of bead at 03 in the morning to catch the train. It was rainy, it was stormy and the train was late so I was so stressed when I finally came to the H.C. Andersen Castle. I can easily get panic attacks when I’m stressed and I felt that it was coming when I opened the door to the event. I’m also a HSP person, so even if I love to go to events and workshops, it drains me out emotionally and I have to rest for days after. I managed to keep away the panic attack, but instead, I had such a terrible migraine the entire day. So if you ever meet me at a event and I seem shy, quiet or non-social: I’m not arrogant or do not appreciate your company. But why do I still go to the events when it’s sometimes so exhausting? Cuz I love it! I love, love, love to meet other beauty junkies, meet the lovely persons behind the PR-firms, to know more about the new products, brands, to get to learn more.
We played some games! First ”how deep is your #essielove”, (I answered all the questions correct!) and then Essie Jeopardy, where we paired up in four teams- sweden, denmark, norway and finland. I think we came in second place. 🙂
PS. FUN FACT: Do you know which is the best selling Essie nail polish? The sheer pink Mademoiselle! They sell one every two minutes in the USA. Cray cray! And the most pinned polish on Pinterest is Angora Cardi.
